I completed most of the following international news reports as a one-woman band or multimedia journalist. This meant: traveling solo across Europe while pitching stories, finding the right interviewees, shooting video, writing scripts, editing footage, doing my own hair and makeup, recording on camera, and delivering videos under daily deadlines to air on American television.
Certainly a lot of juggling and multi-tasking! This hands-on experience has been invaluable when collaborating with videographers on larger projects.
I not only present on-air and write the stories but also contribute creative ideas to enhance the visual storytelling.
